Custom Cover


 1. CONTACT ME
Send me a message via facebook, email to Hannah-Sternjakob-Design.de or via the contact form.
Please provide your name and email address. Tell me briefly which services you need. I will answer within 24 hours.
 
2. SCHEDULING AND DESIGN
The next step is to set a date for the first design proposal (draft 1) to be sent to you.
Upon agreeing on a date, I will send you an invoice (50% down payment, the rest to be paid on completion) and a brief design questionaire.
In order for me to start working on the cover, you need to send back the completed questionaire. It is important to fill in the design description in detail.
 
3. COVER DESIGN
You receive a low resolution JPEG file (design proposal) including a watermark. After I send the design proposal to you, I need your feedback.
If you do not want further changes, please let me know and if you do, provide instructions for further revisons.
If you are unsatisfied with the first design proposal, send some samples, based on which I can get a better idea of your taste and preferences.
 
4. ADDITIONAL MATERIAL DESIGN
In the next step, I create additional material that you can order. Where applicable, I need all measurements, templates and text.
To start the paperback design, I need all the text and other information you want to include. If you print with Amazon KDP, I need the final trim size, formatted page count and paper color. Otherwise I need the ISBN barcode and print template.
 
5. PAYMENT AND FINAL DELIVERY
After confirming the overall design of all files ordered, you are prompted to make the remaining payment.
I will send you the high-resolution, print-ready files after confirming reception of the payment.


Premades


1. CONTACT ME

Please provide your name and email address. Tell me briefly which premade you want to buy.
It is also possible to buy premades directly in the shop of course.
 
2. EBOOK PREMADES
After telling me which premade you want to buy, you receive an invoice. After confirming reception of the payment, I will mark the premade as sold.
After you provide all the necessary text information for the ebook, I will start editing the premade cover for you. In case you do not know all the required information yet, you can also send it later. The cover remains reserved and will not be sold to another author. Please note that I will not send premades without text.
 
3. FURTHER CHANGES
Additional changes to the graphics or drastic changes to the typeface will be billed separately, but this will be communicated clearly beforehand.
 
4. ADDITIONAL MATERIAL DESIGN

You can order additional material like audiobook cover, title page, or online and print advertising material along with your premade cover. Where applicable, I need all measurements, templates and text for the design of the specific item.
